Night View of Gyochon Traditional Village
#localescapes
When visiting Gyeongju, I suggest taking a walk around Gyochon Village, especially at night. Within the village, you will see traditional architecture. It is a short walk from Cheomseongdae and the royal tombs. It also leads to the Woljeonggyo Bridge, which is also beautiful at night. In the village, there are experience centers, educational programs, and performances. The village is over 400 years old and has been in the Choi family for 12 generations. For locations is Namsan-dong, Gyeongju-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do.

Gyeongju is a haven for history buffs and have an amazing magnetic night views of all their historical buildings and attractions.
The sight of the bridge and the sunset view surrounding the bridge are stunning.
I did a day tour/visit which is definitely not enough to see and know more about the place. There are several spots to visit around in the area. Both day and night have different view.
Walking through this quaint village, frozen in time, evoked a profound sense of tradition and appreciation for Korean culture.
The well-preserved hanok houses and alleys whispered tales of the past, offering a glimpse into ancient Korean lifestyles.
